New moon, decided to go to my classmate's mum's funeral.
wanted to ask him to chant for his mum since its new moon... well probably the time wasnt right. Sitting with me is 3 classmates...gave him suggestion in how to chant and what he can do for his mum since he is a free thinker...

well.. there is a difference between a slightly more spiritual person compare to a worldling.....
they lament over the loss, but not doing anything to the decease... they only cant get use to the loss...its not so much of "we have lose a good person".... too bad for the mother.. probably karma not that good...

for my classmate.... he commented that we should get married and have kids so that parents can take care of them....ie his idea of life...but at the end when his time.. i wonder if he will ponder what is the purpose of his life....

There is the origin of suffering, which is attachment to desire. Desire should be let go of. Desire has been let go of.

There is the cessation of suffering, of dukkha. The cessation of dukkha should be realised. The cessation of dukkha has been realised.

There is the Eightfold Path- the way out of suffering. This path should be developed. The final insight into arahantship is:‘This path has been fully developed.’
