Monster House

Quite a nice show for kids... but i would consider that show suitable for adults... great CG, the expressions and even when pronouncing words, the lips were perfectly showing wat they were saying.

Storyline, nice... some dharma element inside...

the house is really possessed... by the owner's wife...she hate peep very much due to her encounters... but the owner was in love with her despite her sise... she was big... The owner had to chase the kids when halloween approaches as kids wil be asking for sweets... made him a mean man.. but he did that just to protect the peeps...but that went on for 45 years

well in the end the house was blown up.... and the last sentence the owner said to the kids...

" For 45 years... you have freed us..."

the attachment was so great that the wife possessed the house...
same for the owner's attachment for the wife... both suffered , not being able to be free....

Since factors brought relations together, be it family or husband and wife.... when things happen, we just cant ignore it... have to face it or endure it together... no one is a single entity...

Single entity ? Or plain selfish?

Info

There is suffering, dukkha. Dukkha should be understood. Dukkha has been understood

There is the origin of suffering, which is attachment to desire. Desire should be let go of. Desire has been let go of.

There is the cessation of suffering, of dukkha. The cessation of dukkha should be realised. The cessation of dukkha has been realised.

There is the Eightfold Path- the way out of suffering. This path should be developed. The final insight into arahantship is:‘This path has been fully developed.’
