Good or Bad

When something bad happens... peep will be depress... but it doesnt mean its not a good thing.. Sometimes things happen for a reason...

My experience in A level....
1) before A level was rated pess B for army.. meaning i will chiong here chiong there for army.. tough one.. probably
2) For some reason I wrote out of point for my GP.. wat the...so i failed... Can repeat JC... not happy... but told myself there must be a reason why I fail.. cannot be ma...

Then come a series of fortunate events.....

1) rated into pess C9 L2.. meaning: cant march, cut short NS training..., retook the dunno wat test (to see which vocation u suitable for)...
2) got sent into air force as a result, got 3k + for allowance for australia exercise, went to Indonesia twice (1.2k allowance), get to know nice peep.
3) got into NUS, get to know this group of really nice peep who was admitted the same year.

If I dont fail my A level... life would be entirely different...may have a diff life in NS, wont go overseas, wont meet nice peep...

In simple words... when misfortune befalls... it may not be a bad thing...
1) helps one to grow so that able to handle big tasks ahead.
2) may lead to a series of fortunate events.
3) meet those who has a strong karmic link with u. (eg. i suppose to be in Geylang Methodist normal stream... but my teacher arranged for me into Manjusri... there i met wen cai and ang hwee)

Its quite depressing when I repeat my A's, though I tried hard to be positive...But its part of learning journey... along the way, failure makes one stronger.

Optimist or Pessimist

Wanna know u optimist or pessimist? the palm shows it all....
For Mr/Miss pessimist, at the top of the intellect line , there will be several fine lines coming out from there as per A.
For Mr/Miss Pessiist, it will be B.
If you are C, means ur feelings and thoughts change very rapidly. sometie peissmist, sometime optiist. The feelings will show when druk. Quite emotional type. If too stressful, may do something stupid.
the fine lines may change cos ur palm changes as ur personality change.s

Fiction.. Non-fiction

Saw the national geographic channel... made me realise how naive i am...

the movie " The day after tomorrow"... about some state of US being frozen...
Things I believed
1) human frozen within seconds
2) the eye of the tornado that sucked in super cool air, resulting in sudden freeze of things and people
3) sudden change of earth climate

False......

1) not true... even if they do a rapid freeze on food, need at least a few minutes.
2) not true... as the cold air got suck into the eye the temperature of the air will rise... forgot wats the reason behind...
3) 70% of earth is made up of water... sea kept the temperature of the climate stable.... sudden change is not possible... the fastest change require 10-50 years...
- - - - - -- - - - - - -- - - - - - -- - -- - -
Realised that even an increase in temperature of 2 degree will exceed some animals' tolerance level... the earth is dying slowly...ar.... global warming...

Info

There is suffering, dukkha. Dukkha should be understood. Dukkha has been understood

There is the origin of suffering, which is attachment to desire. Desire should be let go of. Desire has been let go of.

There is the cessation of suffering, of dukkha. The cessation of dukkha should be realised. The cessation of dukkha has been realised.

There is the Eightfold Path- the way out of suffering. This path should be developed. The final insight into arahantship is:‘This path has been fully developed.’
